How to Recover Deleted Files on Windows, Mac, and Android

Hate when you accidently delete something and then your empy the trash? I have done this quite a few times and it makes me frustrated and wastes my time because I need to download the files again. Now I discovered 2 great programs that always comes in handy when I want to recover any type of deleted file.

Windows- Recuva [Free]

1. Install and open Recuva

2. Choose Next

3. Select the type of files you want to recover. If you have multiple different files then select other.

4. Select where you last had it. (It's okay if you don't remember, just select " I'm Not Sure")

5. Start the scan without deep scan. If Recuva can't find the file then try deep scan. ( Takes a lot longer!)

Mac- Disk Drill [Free]

1. Install and open Disk Drill

2. Select Recover

3. Select the hard drive you want to search in.

4. Choose "quick scan" first and if Disk Drill doesn't find the you want then choose "Deep Scan" (It takes a lot longer!

Android- Choose Recuva or Disk Drill - Depends if you going to recover deleted fileson a Windows or Mac based computer for your Android (AKA: External Hard Drive)

1. After you chose the correct program and you downloaded it just read the above steps to recover your deleted files on your Android. ( Just make sure you chose your Android's hard drive when it ask you where to search)

How To Install / Create Custom Boot Animation On Samsung Galaxy S2 / S II Phone! [Windows]

Tired of seeing the same old boot up logo? Want to spice it up with a custom boot animation that you can create yourself or get it for someone else? This guide will show you how to get a custom boot animation including sound onto your Samsung Galaxy S2 device. All you need to do is use a very simple application and watch the video on what do to. Enjoy!

*This Method Only Works On Windows

Get your boot animation (Xda or Google PlayStore) or the one you created ( you can make one using Adobe After Effect)

1. Make a folder named data

2. Open the folder name data and inside of that folder make another folder named part1

3. Put all the pictures inside of the folder part1 (you should make around 150 to have a reasonable boot animation)

4. Download and open Boot Animation Factory here:

Download: install_bootanimationfactory.msi 

.. 5. Click Create a new boot animation > Choose folder

6. Find the folder named data and select that folder

7. Click on boot sound if you want boot sound and find an audio file

8. Click Add a loop (located on the right side of the application)

9. Click on Choose a folder and select part1

10. Add number of loops ( I prefer 1 but it's your choice)

11. Choose repeat if you want it to keep repeating

12. Preview it and see if you want to make any changes to it

13. Click Save boot animation

14. Click on the big green arrow on the top of the program > Boot Animation > Flash to phone

15. Click Choose boot animation and find the you saved it as.

16. Click on Reboot after flash and Use SU permission when.... * You need root access * Look on top of page to see how to root*

17. Plug in your phone to your computer and click flash to phone

18. Wait and couple of minutes, wait until your phone finished rebooting and you will have a custom boot animation! Enjoy!
