Umano is an excellent app that reads popular news articles to you. This app is very useful to those who have their hands full and want to catch up on the latest news stories, just by listening to them your phone. 

New articles are updated daily and offers a narrator with a decent personality. To even make this app better you can go ahead and read along with the narrator word for word if you want to! 

You also have options to browse articles by category, share articles with your friends, and one of the best features is that you can download up to 20 articles for offline listening, which is my favorite feature!

Xylon ROM Review for Nexus 4! [PIE Control]

Xylon ROM is an excellent ROM for just about anyone who craves customization. You get neat features like transparent lockscreen, shown in the image above. 

With this ROM you also get lock screen shortcuts to your favorite apps very easily. This ROM also comes with PIE Control so you can go ahead and remove your status bar and navigation keys and just pop out PIE Controls whenever you need to!

Not to mention, it's currently running on the latest Android version, 4.2.2! This is one of my favorite Nexus 4 ROMS!

JellyBam ROM for Galaxy S3! T-Mobile/i9300

This ROM takes features from AOKP, CyanogenMod 10, and Paranoid Android and puts it into one ROM. You get all your favorite features to experience in one place easily. 

I love this type of ROM that incorporates all these features into one. You get features from AOKP like ram usage, CyanogenMod features such as lockscreen enhancements, and Paranoid features like changing your phone into a phablet or tablet. 

I've been using JellyBam ROM for about a week and I haven't experienced any major problems and I would recommend this as a great weekend ROM and if you like the features take it for a spin for the whole week!

Stock 4.2.2 ROM for Galaxy Nexus! - Pre-Rooted! [GSM/Verizon]

Google has released the latest Android version for the Galaxy Nexus, Android version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. With this latest release they have added some new features, but nothing major. 

New features include, an estimated time when the app download and installation will be complete, enhanced quick settings for WiFi and Bluetooth, faster animation for the Gallery app, and other small features. 

If you want to get the latest and greatest Android version, without actually having to unroot your phone first, just flash the stock 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM that comes pre-rooted using the link below!

Ulysse Speedometer App for Android! - Record Your Car Trip!

Ulysses Speedometer for Android is a great app for anyone who travels a good amount frequently or even once in a while. Using this app you can monitor your speed, the distance you traveled for the day, week, or even your total distance. 

You can also monitor the way your going with the compass, change the units for distance, and even set a trip couse to see your total distance, that I find very useful if you want to calculate the amount of gas you have used. 

It also come with other usual features like the date, time, and battery percentage that is very important when your GPS is constantly turned on when ever the app is running.

Google has released the latest Android version for the Nexus 4, Android version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. With this latest release they have added some new features, but nothing major.

Synergy ROM for Galaxy S3! T-Mobile/AT&T/Verizon/Sprint

Synergy ROM is fantastic ROM that comes with great features. The most notable one is the multi-window that works great out of the box! 

I have had some network issues using this ROM with my T-Mobile Galaxy S3 and I would assume with the AT&T variant too. 

You will probably experience network issues too, if you have a GSM Galaxy S3 variant, because this ROM was ported from a Verizon Galaxy S3 variant. 

Even if you don't use this as a daily driver this is a great ROM just to experience different features for the weekend.

How to Install Custom ROMS on Nexus 4!

This guide will show you how to instal custom ROMS on your Nexus 4 device. With custom ROMS you have the ability to get modified versions of Android that you can have fun with or get great features that you don't usually get with stock Android. 
But before we get started you need to have ClockworkMod Recovery on your Nexus 4!

Install ClockworkMod Recovery for Nexus 4 - Windows
Install ClockworkMod Recovery for Nexus 4 - Mac

Step 1. Make sure you have ClockworkMod Recovery on your Nexus 4, if you don't have it on your Nexus 4 use the link above to find out how. 

Step 2. Download the ROM onto your device directly or download it to your computer and transfer it to your device.

Step 3. Enter your phone into ClockworkMod Recovery Mode. First power off your phone. 

Step 4. Once your phone is powered off, press the volume up, volume down, and power button all at the same time. When your phone vibrates let go of the power button, but keep holding onto the volume up and volume power buttons. 

Step 5. You should now see a green start screen. Press the volume up 2x and press the power button to enter into "Recovery" mode. 

Navigate using the volume up and down and using the power button to select the options.

Step 6. Navigate to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" and select "yes".

Step 7. Go download to "Wipe cache parititon" and select "yes". 

Step 8. Go into "advanced" and select "wipe dalvik cache" and choose "yes". 

Step 9. Choose "+++++Go Back+++++". 

Step 10. Select "Install zip from sd card" then "choose zip from sd card" and  finally "0/" folder. 

Step 11. Locate the ROM and install the ROM, it will take about 2-5 minutes. Once the ROM is finished installing your ROM may require you to install Gapps (Gmail, Gtalk, Google Play Store, ect). 
The source where you got the ROM will state that if you need to install Gapps.

Step 12. After installing Gapps, if required, choose "+++++Go Back+++++" and "Reboot System Now". 

Step 13. Wait for your phone to boot up, which will take about 3 minutes and start using your custom ROM!

CodeNameSammy ROM Review for Galaxy Nexus GSM! - TouchWiz for Nexus!

CodeNameSammy ROM is an excellent ROM for anyone who wants to get a good experience out of TouchWiz using the Galaxy Nexus. The ported TouchWiz and the original TouchWiz are very similar and are very stable! 

With CodeNameSammy your the only one who has  Samsung Android software using a pure Google device! The port has a lot of similar features like page transition, icons, and even the unlock sound! 

The only downside to the ROM is that it is currently running 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Go ahead and try out this ROM using the link below, if you like TouchWiz your gonna love this ROM.

Any.DO App Review for Android! - Easily Manage Your To-do Lists & Tasks!

Any.DO app for Android keeps your daily tasks organized and easy to access. You can easily input your task for the day and if you don't feel like typing you can just speak to your phone!

Once you type in the general task you can go ahead into that specific task and add further details so you don't forget about it. Also you have option to set certain tasks to urget, set a reminder for it, and even send that note to your friends. 

This Android app helps organize your notes and task with very little effort. I use it on a daily basis for what videos I should make for each day and for what time I should make the videos.

JR13 ROM Review for Galaxy Nexus GSM!

JR13 ROM gives you that stock Android features, but doesn't overwhelm you with too many custom feature options. With this app it gives you certain customization options, but not too many. 

The ROM gives you customization features like, custom colors for each specific notification, fixed Google Wallet restrictions, and some other great useful features.

Zombie Road Trip Game for Android! - Drive, Shoot, & Smash!

Yes, another fun, adventurous, zombie game! This week we take a look at Zombie Road Trip for Android. Use your choice of car and gun to get as far into the road until the zombes catchup to you. 

You can stack up more points once you do flips in the air off the ramps during the road. Using these points you can upgrade your car for better performance and durability or upgrade your gun to make it more powerful.

Overall this game is fun, addictive, and has great playful graphics to you can enjoy! If your as much of a zombie enthusiasts as me you'll have a lot of fun with this game!

AOKP MR1 Build 2 ROM for Galaxy S3! [T-Mobile/AT&T/Verizon/ U.S Cellular]

AOKP is a great ROM for multiple reasons. Specfically in this build new features were added like, unlimited amount of widgets on your lockscreen, put any type of widget on your lockscreen, and so many other great features!

This ROM also is very stable and can definitely be used as a daily driver. Using AOKP as your daily driver you will experience alot of great features that you don't usually get with other ROMS. 

Overall, AOKP is a great ROM that I personally love and use it on a daily basis. Download this ROM using the links below...DO NOT forget Gapps!
